Learn more about Network Marketing here!   What is "Residual Income"?  When I first began my search for a home-based business, I didn't know the first thing about residual income or leveraging my efforts. In fact, I was unsure about the whole concept....I mean, if I were to build a team of distributors wouldn't that be considered a "pyramid"?  I didn't know the first thing about team building and I was not going to be a part of some "pyramid-scheme".  However, what I discovered after speaking with many top leaders & distributors from successful Network Marketing companies & doing internet research, I realized that these were real people just like me who wanted to be home with their children & in control of their own time & money.  They were honest, hard-working, and very devoted to self-development.  They didn't become leaders overnight, nor were they "born" leaders.  They simply did what anyone would have to do...they developed leadership skills and put in the work necessary to build their home businesses.  Let me share some things with you that I learned about the Network Marketing industry. Well, you can go to work for a company day after day, year after year, but what happens if you stop going into work?  You stop bringing home a paycheck.  Why?  Most of us have been taught to go to school for X amount of time to earn X degree so that we can work for someone else at X job for X pay. Because your paycheck is dependent upon the hours you work.  Zero hours = zero pay! Consider this fact, each of us has only 24 hours in a day.  No matter how hard you work or how talented you are in your field, your earnings potential will be limited if you neglect to take advantage of the power of leveraging to build a residual income.   But what is leveraging?  Read the following example...  Let's imagine it is your job to make crankets on an assembly line. You are aware that you must make those crankets everyday in order to get paid. But, what if you could leverage your time?   Using the crankets example, let's suppose you earn $1000 per month cranking out those crankets.  However, what if you were encouraged by your company to train others to work on the same assembly line alongside you? Plus, you were informed that you could earn another 10% of the income for each worker that you personally trained?  What would this look like in terms of potential income for you? Take a look at the scenario below:    This is the mindset of trading your TIME for $$ DOLLARS.

1st month:  You make $1000 for your usual effort and each of the ten people you train earn $1000.  In addition, you earn 10% of their monthly income (10% of $1000 = $100 x 10 people = $1000 + your $1000 = $2000 total). 2nd month:  You still make your $1000,  but now you have 20 people who each make $1000.  Your income is thus: 10% of $1000 = $100 x 20 people = $2000 + your $1000 = $3000 total. 3rd month:  You still make your $1000, but now you have 30 people who each make $1000. Your income is thus: 10% of $1000 = $100 x 30 people = $3000 + your $1000 = $4000 total. Sound pretty good?  What if there were more earnings potential offered by your company? Let's suppose your company agreed to pay you an additional 5% of the income of any worker that was trained by someone you personally trained to assemble those crankets!   Are you starting to imagine the income potential? Now, in your third month, 10 of the thirty that you trained each trained 5 more people.  You would then have 50 more people each earning $1000, and you would earn 5% of that.  5% of $1000 = $50 x 50 people = $2500 + your month 3 total of $4000 = $6500 total in month 3!       This was an example of the possibilities of applying  the power of leveraging in your business.

This was a simple, yet dramatic illustration of how leveraging to produce a residual income stream can work. If I can teach you, we have doubled ourselves.  If we can each teach someone else, we have doubled again. This is the magic of growth through duplication! As demonstrated above, the process of duplication has the potential to produce amazing results in a relatively short amount of time!  However, this is by no means a "get rich quick scheme".  You must be willing to put forth the effort and committment it takes to succeed.  It will not happen overnight, but you can make it happen!
